Minnesota is Losing While Other Midwest Housing Markets Are Building Affordably

Minnesota is a proud state. We like to boast about being a high-ranking state in many things from voter turnout to life expectancy. Unfortunately, one of the rankings that hasn’t gotten much coverage is the fact that we are one of the worst states in terms of housing affordability.

On average, the comparable house costs 26% more in Minnesota than all of the surrounding states.
